In this paper, Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimation with a single dipole antenna installed on a meta-surface reflector without electrical control is presented. DoA estimation with a single antenna element is expected to simplify the feeding circuit and reduce costs compared to conventional DoA estimation that use multiple antennas . DoA estimation results using the pseudo signals indicates the correct angle. However, peaks occur at the wrong angles as well. This can be solved by consideration of the structure of the meta-surface.
