AN ASSISTIVE DEVICE FOR ANKLE MOTION

抄録

The ability of an independent link type gait assistive device to improve gait of person with restriction in ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (ROM), while maintaining other physical ability is investigated. First, the effect of restriction in ankle dorsiflexion ROM on gait is investigated using a dynamic model of a human body consisting of three links. Second, an assistance method that brings the hip trajectory closer to that of normal walking is considered by evaluating the results of simulation by numerical model with assistive device.
