抄録
頚椎症, 椎間板ヘルニア, 後縦靱帯骨化症などの頚椎変性疾患に対する外科治療は大きく頚椎前方手術と後方手術に分類される. 本邦で広く行われている前方手術はanterior cervical discectomy and fusion, anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion, anterior cervical foraminotomy, 後方手術はcervical expansive laminoplasty, posterior cervical fixationであるが, それぞれの術式の一般的な適応を紹介し, 前方・後方アプローチ選択に関するエビデンスを整理し, 個々の症例についての適応を検討した.
