抄録

  Aisin Takaoka aims to reduce production CO2 emissions by 25% by 2025 and 50% by 2030 in order to achieve CN in 2035.

  Our actual CO2 emissions in fiscal 2023, including our domestic group companies, is approximately 300,000 t-CO2/year. Of the breakdown, emissions from the melting process account for 60% (40% from cupolas and 20% from electric furnaces), and it is essential to reduce emissions from cupolas in order to achieve CN.

  This time, in order to reduce the emissions of coal coke for cupolas, we have worked on two aspects : converting to an electric furnace with a superior emission coefficient, and developing our own Bio-Molded-Coke as a substitute for coke. Report on each case.
