Issues on the Policy of Sixth Industry Promotion

This paper aims at evaluating the establishment and the enforcement of Sixth Industry Promotion policy by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. This policy was introduced since 2010's under the strong political support. Various programs have been introduced, but many of them are concentrated to supporting an individual farm which wishes to diverse its farm management. The author emphasizes the importance of evaluating sixth industry program from the viewpoint of both farm level and regional level.
