A new method measures the pressure to sides of the foot was conceived by utilizing a human sensitivity as a sensor.
The chief results were as follows :
(1) A receptor of the pressure to the shod foot was deviced and the relation between the human sensory and the pressure to the foot was obtained.
(2) Threshold of consciousness of pressive sensory was measured and just noticible difference curve (JND) was obtained.
(3) It was found that pressive sensory changed to the posture. It was not concerned to the hight of heel.
(4) The pressure to sides of the foot was changed by the size of shoes. It of easy fitted shoes was 0.661.32 kg, it of comfortable fitted shoes was 1. 252. 39 kg and it of tight fitted shoes was 5. 6910. 5 kg.
