The multi-regression analysis and the cluster analysis were applied to the individual principal component values in order to classify body form into several clusters.
The main results are as follows :
1) As a result of multi-regression analysis, age was estimated from the first and the third principal component values with the multi-correlation of 0.73 and the standard error of 7.1, and the possibility of rough age estimation from anthropometrical data was shown.
2) Emphasizing the effect of age, body form was classified using cluster analysis. For all age groups, the ratio of the subject number in each cluster to the total subject number were examined. We recognized, as the result, that theratio changed following age group.
