The changes in tested values of red blood cells in 10 years were examined among 796 women using multivariate analysis method. The subjects aged around 50 showed an increase in the values, although no such changes were observed in men. As the age was correponded to the menopausal time, some hormonal changes were considered to effect on the chages.
