Three cases of abnormally large salivary calculi in the Wharton's duct were reported. Their chemical composition were analyzed by use of a X-ray diffractor and an infrared spectrometer. Analysis showed that they mainly consisted of phosphatic salt of calcium and magnesium. Statistical review and the genesis of the salivary calculus were discussed.
