Abstract
Studies were made on the literatures available on the cervical cyst and fistula, and two cases experiences by the authors are reported.
It is concluded that;
1) the cervical cyst and fistula should be considered to be of multiple origin, and
2) it is advisable to try the step-ladder method of operating on the fistula.
One of the two cases experienced by the authors had ciliated epithelium and another had pavement epithelium, and they were classif iced in Type II of Baily and seemed to be of branchiogenic origin.
