We treated 8 cases of perennial allergic rhinitis and 8 seasonal allergic rhinitis and considered the indications for using beclomethasone dipropionate nasal spray. We administered the drug to 5 of the 8 perennial allergic rhinitis cases and 5 of 8 seasonal allergic rhinitis cases in order to initiate the treatment or suppress the nasal symptomes which did not improve by the other therapy. Two patient had abdominal pain after using it. The drug has been reported to give immediate improvement of nasal symptomes, but also the possibility of adreno-cortical suppression and concealing of the infection. The drug is indicated for severe allergic nasal symptomes and should be withdrawn if allergic symptomes have subsided.
