Antibiotic transition in the serum and into the tissue was investigated by cefmenoxime and cefotiam. As a result, the tissue concentration reached a peak in 1 hour and gradually decreased. The tissue concentration was higher than that in the serum. Meantime, MIC against various bacteria collected from the sinus pus showed high value in the Haemophilus influenzae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is accordingly necessary to take account of MIC against the bacteria in case of selection of the antibiotics.
