The authors used the intravenous dropping injection of narcotic cocktail (mixture of Contomin 1 mg/kg., Hiberna 1 mg/kg.and Opistan 2 mg/kg. in 500cc of 5%Glucose solution) in 29 cases of the radical operation of otitis media chronica and 7 cases of pansinectomy, and obtained 32 cases of marked effect and 4 cases of fair effect.
Reference is made to the method and time of injection, the duration of narcosis and the method of administration of narcosis, and it is stated thad this is a simple and safe method of narcosis.
