抄録
Since the oversupply of asphalt is expected in these several years as a result of indirect desulfurization of residual fuel oil, it is necessary to develop the new uses of asphalt. The new utilizations of asphalt to many fields such as railroad, agriculture, building material, carbon material, gasification and thermal cracking are outlined in this paper.
