Biomass energy is only one storable renewable energy. Wet biomass is not suitable for long time storage by the degradation due to the water content. Woody biomass (firewood, chip, pellets, ogarite, semi-carbonized fuel and charcoal) is better candidate for storage of bio-energy. Semi-carbonized fuel has essentially good character, related with the high energy density, over than dried wood and charcoal. We investigated many types of biomass for long term storage. Semi-carbonized fuel and charcoal system is the best for domestic storage against the large disaster.
