The computer controlled scanning electron microscopy (CCSEM) method for quantitative coal mineral analysis was developed. Standard samples such as quartz, kaolinite, calcite, pyrite, mixed these minerals and Hunter Valley coal were measured with four measurement organization to confirm the standardization of measuring. Mineral contents and particle diameter distributions corresponded well with these organizations.
