Viscoelastic properties of the pelletized Upper Freeport coal and its extracts were characterized by means of controlled stress oscillatory rheometry. The measured modulus of rigidity was resolved into storage and loss components, as a function of temperature and oscillation frequency. Although the time-temperature superposition procedures were apparently allowed to construct the master curves reduced to 643K, the temperature dependencies of the shift factor can never explained by WLF equation. Arrhenius type plots of the shift factors shows that the activation energy is temperature-dependent.
