抄録

Although sails have been used for propelling ships thousands years ago, there is still no an industrially applicable wind powered generation machine using sails until today. We invented a novel wind powered electricity generation system that uses shake sail assemblies. Both the working principle and the mechanical construction of the shake sail wind generator are completely different from the wind turbine generators. The shake sail generator has many outstanding advantages. It can be made at very low cost, can be working at low wind speeds, can be reliable, easy to maintain, and not easily damaged.
