The author has been developing a high-efficiency hydrogen energy system which uses slush hydrogen as means of transporting and storing hydrogen energy. In the hydrogen system, a synergetic effect is anticipated in combination with slush hydrogen and high-temperature superconducting power machines. A three-dimensional numerical flow analysis code based on the thermally non-equilibrium two-fluid model was developed to clarify fluid dynamic characteristics for slush flow in a horizontal pipe.
