Activation energy and frequency factor of CO2 gasification with coke and graphite were calculated using Distributed Activation Energy Model (DAEM). In the case of graphite, the activation energy increased from 350kJ/mol to 420kJ/mol with an increase in conversion. On the other hand, in the case of coke, the activation energy decreased from 340kJ/mol to 210kJ/mol until conversion reached 0.2 and then remained almost constant. The results implied that the activation energy differs between the surface and the inside of coke.
