The ratios of elastic constants to density for hexagonal clathrate structure of krypton hydrate (KrH-sH phase) have been determined by high-pressure Brillouin spectroscopy. The obtained elastic properties of KrH-sH phase show that the pressure gradient of C11/ρ (C33/ρ) is smaller than that of methane hydrate sI (MH-sI) and hydrogen hydrate C1 (HH-C1) phases, which means that the guest-host interaction is weak in comparison with MH-sI and HH-C1 phases.
