The purpose of this investigation was considering the possibility of urban small green space with the urban article for biological habitat. The investigation area was green roofs and open space at Midousuji street side in Osaka City central area. Among them, we focused on internal environment (green area and age of open space) and external environment (distance to river and large-scale green area). We grasped internal green environment and birds distribution (and composition). Next, we grouped the investigation areas based on appearance species of birds and examined the planting tendency of each group. As the result, birds diversity was enhanced by increasing area of shrub, lower tree and being older construction time. In addition, there were possibility that shrub and external environment (distance to river and green space) had a nonlinear effect on birds distribution.
