Green infrastructure utilizes the multi-functions of nature, and as it is infrastructure, it must maintain its performance. The maintenance of green infrastructure involves many factors that must be considered, such as maintaining the performance of natural elements such as trees, as well as managing the performance of both natural and artificial elements. There are many factors to consider when maintaining green infrastructure, such as maintaining the performance of natural elements such as trees, and managing performance by combining natural and artificial elements. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of collecting basic information on maintenance methods to properly manage green infrastructure and maintain or improve the various functions required of green infrastructure. In this study, the main elements of green infrastructure were organized as "plant strips, rain gardens, permeable pavement, rooftop and wall greening, and urban green space." After that, maintenance details related to each element were extracted from Japan and overseas manuals, guidelines, and other materials.
