Abstract
The present study examines the structure of the movement process from accelerating viewpoint. Experiments were carried out by the following procedure. Six right-handed male students served as the subject. Each subject performed 10 trials under each of ten combinations of five distances and two directions. The results can be summarized as follows. (1) Movement time and time composition in acceleration pattern are influenced by movement distance, (2) the greater part of movement delay occured within fourth phase in acceleration pattern, (3) these movements are made up of two basis structural components, the first submovement is distance-covering phase and the second submovement is corrective movement which is under eye-hand coordination.
