Derrick Boomの旋回にともなう荷物のふれについて(日本航海学会第42回講演会)

抄録

When we adopt the swing boom system, the efficiency of cargo handling is influenced by the shaking of cargoes caused by the swing of boom. The author investigated theoretically on the shake of cargo, and found that it is neccessary to controll the angular velocity of boom under 3°/sec if we want to keep the maximum shaking of cargo under 1m.
