Isolated high-frequency DC-DC converters are widely used in industry, transportation and home appliances. However, there is no general design method for high frequency transformer of DC-DC converter. Therefore, in this paper, a design method of high frequency transformer is proposed by the proportional increment method using electric loading, magnetic loading, maximum magnetic flux density whose consider temperature rise of iron core. From the prototype high frequency transformer 200V, 2.5kVA, 20kHz, It is clarified that the proposed method is effective for the design of high frequency transformers.
