近年の地震における死者の発生要因の調査

In nine recent earthquakes after the 1995 Hyogo-Ken Nanbu Earthquake, 114 fatalities have been reported. We surveyed the occurrence situation of 114 fatalities. Publications by the governments, newspaper articles, and reports on the damage investigation are collected. Information on fatalities such as age, sex, place, and cause are examined. As a result of the survey, fatalities in recent earthquakes include a lot of indirect death. And many of indirect deaths are observed among senior citizens.
