The local government prepare The Local Disaster Management Plan according to local circumstances and The Basic Disaster Management Plan. Earthquake disaster prevention by local government is promoted on The Local Disaster Management Plan. The current situation of earthquake disaster prevention by respective prefectural and municipal has a difference. We carried out a questionnaire survey of 748 local government, all prefectural, municipal and the 23 special wards of Tokyo. to investigate the current situation of earthquake disaster prevention leading to housing damage reduction.
