Abstract
The purpose of this research is to compare the travelling behavior of Chinese tourists and tourist routes by the local government in Kamakura city. According to China's online review site, it was confirmed that the most important characteristic of the travelling behavior of Chinese tourists was visiting the “Kamakura high school” for the purpose of pilgrimage. The pilgrims were gathered in the “Kamakura high school”, and the travelling behavior of them was slanted toward the seaside. Other Chinese tourists were going sightseeing on both the mountainside and seaside. Based on the model course and pamphlet by the Kamakura city administration, the tourism routes recommended by Kamakura city administration were slanted toward the mountainside, and the tourism resources on both the mountain and sea sides are recommended in different routes.
