Through general insurance classes, the improvement of knowledge score and the change of consciousness about the satisfaction from the class, necessity of learning, and significance of the classes were observed for three student categories: general university students, female university students who wish to become teachers, and in-service teachers.
Regarding the impressions before the course, several participants mentioned " metacognitive monitoring," whereas after the course, they were more descriptive about " metacognitive control." “Careful selection of learning content,” “adoption of familiar concrete cases,” “summary of each commentary,” and “preliminary answer” were effective in developing this ability.
