Abstract
Crystal growth of lumazine synthase from Bacillus subtilis was studied. This enzyme sub-complex has a spherical shape with a diameter of nearly 150Å (molecular weight of about IMDa) with icosahedral symmetry. Crystalline morphology, time-course of growth, and growth rate were determined together with crystalline solubility.
