We grew an NH_4Cl crystal from an aqueous solution beginning with a partially faceted equilibrium shape. When the supersaturation was low enough, the growth shape was partially faceted with round corners. At larger supersaturation, however, the shape became fully faceted. This implies that growth rate of off-facet surface has strongly nonlinear dependence on supersaturation.
