Abstract
The aim of this paper was to clarify the problem connected with home economics education in elementary schools from 1947 to 1955, and to consider the counterplan of the concerned persons to home economics education. This paper took up the argument of abolition and subject teacher of home economics. The persons concerned to home economics education pointed out as follows: 1.Against the arguments of abolition, necessity of clearing the theory of the subject and investigating the educational contents. 2.Home economics teachers have to find out a meaning and a view of reborn home economics, examing contents and methods of old domestic science and sewing.
