Abstract
In this article, authors propose a method of dialogical analysis focused on dialogical rhythm for qualitative research. It enables to find contextualization cues through visualizing dialogical situations by creating graphs, and it supports interpreting data and coding transcripts. It also enhances their validity which is crucial in qualitative research. It is applicable to audio-video recordings, transcripts, field notes, etc. Authors also apply this method to analyses of transcripts from an interview with an undergraduate student who experienced teaching practices at an elementary school in order to examine the effectiveness of the method. Finally they discuss its significances and future possibilities.
