In a study of the learning and development of university students and school-to-work and society transition, it has not been fully clarified how the learning outcomes at the time of graduation effect on their proactive behavior at work. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to clarify how learning and career awareness (active learning, learning bridging, and connection to future and present life) during the university period influence the exercise of abilities at work (proactive behavior) through learning outcomes (student-life fulfillment and learning outcomes) during the university period. A longitudinal survey was conducted at two time points, before graduation and six months after employment. The results of the covariance structure analysis revealed that 1) learning bridging and connection to future and present life effect on student-life fulfillment, but not on proactive behavior, 2) active learning, learning bridging, and connection to future and present life effect on proactive behavior through learning outcomes.
