Abstract

Nowadays Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) has become one of the most important thinking and behavioral models of health care workers. Several EBM workshops have been held in England, Canada and other countries to learn EBM more easily and correctly. One of those EBM workshops are held by CASP (Critical Appraisals Skills Programme) international network. CASP Japan has been organized by Toshio Fukuoka (the chief of general medicine and training department of medical interns of Kurashiki Chuo Hospital) in 1999. CASP Japan has provided workshops and trained workshop tutors ever since. Student CASP workshop is one of activities of CASP Japan which is planned especially for medical and pharmaceutical students. Student CASP workshops have been held since December 5th 2010 in some Pharmaceutical Universities. In this paper, we report about these workshops and the result of a questionnaire survey of Kobe Pharmaceutical University.
