A case is a 48-year-old housewife, who has had bronchial asthma for 20 years. Although she visited many hospitals, she had little remissions and finaly visited our clinic. She was diagnosed as broncial asthma, which was caused by her depressed conditions because her life had been filled with hard and pity affairs.She was married to a man who worked in a company at the age of 24. After 1 year, as her husband's sister had a chance to remarry, she and her husband were forced to move out of the house by mother and sister-in-low. This gave her deep sorrow. She couldn't express to anybody and suppressed her anger in her heart. After another year, when she was in the seventh month of pregnance, she had a sudden asthmatic attack.When she was treated by a mother-like-approach, she cried out and began to talk about her troubles for the first time. Subsequently, she was administered antidepressants. Since then, she has been healthy and had no asthmatic attack.
