To presume the rehabilitation potential of a patient is very important for carrying out his rehabilitation program. And it depends on evaluating the function of the affected limb exactly. The authers deviced a manual evaluation method using simple instruments for the hemiplegic upper limb. In this evaluation method, the muscle strength and skillfulness of the affected limb were analyzed in detail, and the posture, R. O. M. and neurologic signs of it were also described. The effect of exercise theraphy for the affected upper limb will be expected by utilizing these record collectively.
