Luminance contrast threshold of human eyes is one of important ability to percept a visual targets. It has been measured by psychophysical constant method. However experimental result using constant method depends on subjecive judgment. So it usually has a large dispersion. The objective of the paper is to suggest a measuring method for luminance contrast threshold using EOG (Electro-Oculography). EOG can continuously record a fixation point of human eyes to verify the coidentity between locus of fixation point and locus of dynamic visual target to assess whether subject can apparent visual target. We assessed the availability of this measuring method through experiment in which we measured luminance contrast threshold in dark adaptation and light adaptation (10cd/m2, 2000cd/m2). Through the experiment we verified that sugg ested method was useful to quantify the ability of luminance contrast threshold of human eyes.
