A subjective similarity estimation model of apparel product images using the image feature is proposed in order to retrieve apparel products by subjective similarity, and the validity is inspected. The subjective similarity of apparel products image was investigated by paired comparison test. The relationship between the subjective similarity and the design elements was analyzed by multidimensional scale method. Fractal dimension and silhouette geometry were adopted as the quantities of image feature. A subjective similarity estimation model was developed using multidimensional index space. As results, high search effciency was obtained by proposed method than conventionals tudies.
