In the automatic pouring apparatus of die-casting machine, the molten aluminium alloy is automatically delivered to the cold chamber, in order to accelerate a casting cycle. Recently, the various types of automatic pouring system, such as mechanical and pneumatic, are introduced into die-casting industry. The speed of mechanical type is slow. On the other hand, that of the pneumatic type is quick, but molten metal amount delivered to the cold chamber is greatly changed at each castings. In an automatic pouring apparatus by pneumatic device invented by the authors, the work is quick and the constant amount of molten metal is accura-tely delivered to the cold chamber. In this report, it is shown by the experiment that the authors' automatic pouring device is characterized by above mentioned merits.
