We conducted a sensory evaluation for plastic bottles of green tea. We prepared five different kinds of plastic bottles of green tea, and 25 observers compared their appearance with how they thought the tea would taste. Among the five, the green tea that appeared to have the deepest green color received the same rating for both visual effect and taste. The tea having the lightest green color obtained a lower rating for visual effect than the other four. After actually tasting the tea from all five bottles, however, all 25 observers had no preference for one over another.
