Abstract
Tilia japonica (MlQ.) SIMONK. (Tiliaceae) is recorded as a host plant of Spinarge nigricornis HARA and SHINOHARA, 2006, its larva is described, and its life history is discussed on the bases of field observations and rearing records. The host plant and larva of S. nigricornis have been unknown.
