On a Gynandromorph Specimen of Bischoffitilla pungens (Smith), which Reveals Two Synonyms in Japanese Mutillid Wasps (Hymenoptera, Mutillidae)

Abstract

A gynandromorph specimen of Bischoffitilla pungens (SMITH, 1873) was examined. The specimen served to confirm the following two synonyms: Bischoffitilla unidentata (TSUNEKI, 1972) synonymized with B. pungens (SMITH, 1873), and B. bidentata (TSUNEKI, 1972) synonymized with. B. ardescens (SMITH, 1873).
