Abstract
Rabbit syphilis was detected in all family members of household rabbits, namely parent rabbits and their 4 kits. The buck showed skin lesions a month after the mating and the doe 2.5 months after the mating (1.5 months after a delivery). The lesions of 4 kits were noticed at 2.5- to 3- month-old. Since rabbit syphilis is transmissible between the mating partners and from a doe to kits, the owner should be informed that the rabbits suffering from the disease and suspected to be infected should be eradicated from breeding in the future.
