抄録

Phagocytic action showed in vitro to india ink solution by histiocytes that exist in the subcutaneous tissue was temporarily stimulated by Multin and goat's serum. The influence of the solution of soluble starch on the phagocytic action of this cell was not so evident.
It seems that the direct action of such materials as Multin or serum protein on the phagocytic action of histiocytes that exist in the subcutaneous tissues which exscinted from the living body is not so specific and remarkable. After the function of these agents, the phagocytic action to india ink granule is generaly stimulated in 5 to 10 minutes and then weakened. And the more violent the stimution is, the more the phagocytic action lowers afterwards.
Decrease of the phagocytic action seems to be due more to the decrease of living power of the hitiocytes in the exscited subcutaneous tissue than to the direct action of the agents or any foreigne protein.
