This research conducted semi-structured interviews with three Japanese language instructors, aiming at clarifying teachers' personalities, which help them create positive relationships with other instructors. The collected data was analysed with KJ method. Analysed data showed that there were six points to the teachers' personalities, and it was also suggested that a teacher's ability to create and maintain positive relationships with other teachers is determined by these six points. The six points are: 1. sense of rivalry, 2. receptivity to different values, 3. activeness to communicate with other teachers, 4. ability to control your own emotion, 5. tendency to criticise others and 6. consideration of how to express emotions.
