In this work, to understand the relationship between meaning and pragmatics meaning, we analyzed the basic meaning and pragmatic meaning of "Surunjyanai", from the viewpoint of pragmatics. The results show that this expression can express two different status, namely, prohibition and preventive restrain. This expression is same with "Suruna",can also be understood as dissatisfaction, when used to emphasize. Finally, it can used to express the desire when ended with "yo" or "zo"
