A quantitative survey was conducted to explore the awareness of Japanese language learners about the obligation of online classes at Japanese Language schools due to COVID19. Result shows a few number of learners indicate learning Japanese online, are much easier. The evaluation was particularly low for items such as "I can talk well with other students." It also shows that a relative low evaluation of online classes for beginner learners, as well as among the Vietnamese and Nepalese learners. On the other hand, it was also found that there is not much difference in evaluation between online classes and face-to-face lessons in terms of psychology such as "no stress"
