北海道における都市圏の形成過程と中心都市の市街化の動態について

抄録

The aim of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of Urban Regions and the urbanization of their core cities in Hokkaido. Some of the results obtained are follows; 1. The formation of Urban Regions was recognized and their rapid extendings have been continued from about 1965. 2. It is surmised that the migration of cities in region, was stabilized because of the recent extending of the Urban Regions. 3. The population density of the center of medium and small cities are about 50p/ha, comparatively densely than other areas, so it must be studied to make urban improvement plans with regional housing-supply planning.
